Sum Function Heads to the Inaugural Broken Arrow Film Festival

Oklahoma, you’re up.

Sum Function has been selected for the inaugural Broken Arrow Film Festival, happening October 2–3 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (just outside Tulsa).

This is the festival’s very first year, and we’re excited to be part of their journey. Presented by the Muscogee Nation, the two-day festival received 177 submissions from filmmakers across 30 states and will feature independent films, documentaries, shorts, student films, filmmaker Q&As, special guests, and more.

They’re also apparently bringing Ecto-1, the Back to the Future DeLorean Batmobiles, a Jurassic Park Jeep, and Herbie the Love Bug.

They understood the assignment.

Sum Function screens Saturday, October 3 at 3:00 PM at Regal Warren Broken Arrow, with a Q&A following at 4:45 PM.

Director Noah Currier won’t be able to make this stop, but Sum Function will be very well represented. Oscar Mike Militia teammates and documentary subjects Bryan Anderson and Josh Burch will be there to watch the film with the audience and stick around afterward for the Q&A.

If you’re anywhere near Tulsa, come hang out with Bryan and Josh, watch a bunch of disabled veterans beat the hell out of each other in wheelchairs, and help us give Broken Arrow a proper introduction to Sum Function.
