Sum Function Selected for the Beverly Hills Film Festival

Following its world premiere at the Annapolis Film Festival, Sum Function will continue its festival run on the West Coast after being officially selected for the Beverly Hills Film Festival.

The festival runs April 12–19, 2026, with Sum Function scheduled to screen on April 14. Final venue and showtime details will be announced soon.

Held in the heart of Los Angeles, the Beverly Hills Film Festival is widely recognized as one of the premier independent film festivals in Southern California. With its close proximity to Hollywood and strong industry presence, the festival brings together filmmakers, distributors, press, and audiences from around the world.

For the team behind Sum Function, the selection marks another important step in the film’s journey to bring this story to broader audiences.

The documentary follows a group of disabled veterans, each impaired in all four limbs, as they confront battles more personal than war itself on and off the wheelchair-rugby court. What begins as a pursuit of victory becomes something far deeper — a story about survival, connection, and the fight for access in a world not built for everyone.

Director Noah Currier and editor Andy Bathrick will be in attendance for the Beverly Hills screening, joining audiences in Los Angeles for a conversation about the film and the real-world stories behind it.
