Sum Function to Premiere at the Annapolis Film Festival on March 28th
We’re thrilled to announce that Sum Function will make its world premiere at the Annapolis Film Festival on March 28, 2026 at Maryland Hall in Annapolis, Maryland.
After several years of filming, editing, and telling this story from inside the community it represents, we’re honored to share the film with live audiences for the very first time.
Even more special, members of the Oscar Mike Militia — the all-veteran wheelchair rugby team featured in the film — will be in attendance for the premiere.
The Annapolis Film Festival is one of the Mid-Atlantic’s premier film events, bringing together filmmakers and audiences from around the world for four days of independent cinema, conversation, and celebration. We’re incredibly grateful to the festival for including Sum Function in this year’s lineup.
“This film was never just about wheelchair rugby. It’s about survival, connection, and what happens when people refuse to quit on each other. To premiere Sum Function with the people who lived these stories means everything.”
— Noah Currier, Director

About the Film
Sum Function follows a team of disabled veterans confronting battles more personal than war itself — on and off the wheelchair rugby court — as they fight for survival, connection, and access in a world not built for them.
The film will continue its run on the festival circuit throughout 2026. Stay tuned for additional screenings, announcements, and opportunities to see Sum Function.
